Squad composition

How the 45-player squad breaks down by position, as published by Eckerd for 2026-27. Players listed at two positions are counted at both, since they provide cover in either.

• Goalkeepers3
• Defenders16 (14)
• Midfielders14 (9)
• Forwards17 (14)

5 players are listed at two positions; the figure in brackets counts only single-position players.

Who is leaving, and when

8 of the 45 are in their final year, so on current form that many places open up next summer — 18% of the squad. A redshirt year does not change this: a redshirt senior leaves when a senior does.

Going by position: 4 defenders, 3 midfielders, 2 forwards, 1 goalkeeper.

• Freshman17

  8 forwards6 defenders4 midfielders1 goalkeeper

• Sophomore9

  4 forwards3 defenders3 midfielders

• Junior11

  4 midfielders3 defenders3 forwards1 goalkeeper

• Senior (final year)8

  4 defenders3 midfielders2 forwards1 goalkeeper

• Graduate (final year)0

Final-year groups are shown in amber. A player listed at two positions is counted under each of them, since they provide cover in either, so the positions on a row can total more than the row itself. Redshirt players are counted in the year they are listed for.

Recent results

Overall record across the last 3 seasons. Soccer is a fall sport, so each season runs from August to a championship in December of the year shown. The NCAA files them by academic year, so the 2025 season appears as 2025-26 on its own site.
