Squad composition

How the 25-player squad breaks down by position, as published by Fitchburg St. for 2026-27. Players listed at two positions are counted at both, since they provide cover in either.

• Goalkeepers3
• Defenders8
• Midfielders8 (7)
• Forwards7 (6)

1 player is listed at two positions; the figure in brackets counts only single-position players.

Who is leaving, and when

8 of the 25 are in their final year, so on current form that many places open up next summer — 32% of the squad. A redshirt year does not change this: a redshirt senior leaves when a senior does.

Going by position: 3 midfielders, 3 forwards, 2 goalkeepers, 1 defender.

• Freshman5

  2 defenders2 midfielders1 forward

• Sophomore4

  2 midfielders1 goalkeeper1 defender

• Junior8

  4 defenders3 forwards1 midfielder

• Senior (final year)8

  3 midfielders3 forwards2 goalkeepers1 defender

• Graduate (final year)0

Final-year groups are shown in amber. A player listed at two positions is counted under each of them, since they provide cover in either, so the positions on a row can total more than the row itself. Redshirt players are counted in the year they are listed for.

Recent results

Overall record across the last 3 seasons. Soccer is a fall sport, so each season runs from August to a championship in December of the year shown. The NCAA files them by academic year, so the 2025 season appears as 2025-26 on its own site.
