Squad composition

How the 31-player squad breaks down by position, as published by Francis Marion for 2026-27. Players listed at two positions are counted at both, since they provide cover in either.

• Goalkeepers4
• Defenders7 (6)
• Midfielders16 (13)
• Forwards7 (5)

3 players are listed at two positions; the figure in brackets counts only single-position players.

Who is leaving, and when

8 of the 31 are in their final year, so on current form that many places open up next summer — 26% of the squad. A redshirt year does not change this: a redshirt senior leaves when a senior does.

Going by position: 5 midfielders, 1 goalkeeper, 1 defender, 1 forward.

• Freshman5

  3 midfielders2 forwards

• Sophomore8

  3 defenders2 goalkeepers2 midfielders1 forward

• Junior10

  6 midfielders3 defenders3 forwards1 goalkeeper

• Senior (final year)5

  3 midfielders1 goalkeeper1 defender

• Graduate (final year)3

  2 midfielders1 forward

Final-year groups are shown in amber. A player listed at two positions is counted under each of them, since they provide cover in either, so the positions on a row can total more than the row itself. Redshirt players are counted in the year they are listed for.

Recent results

Overall record across the last 3 seasons. Soccer is a fall sport, so each season runs from August to a championship in December of the year shown. The NCAA files them by academic year, so the 2025 season appears as 2025-26 on its own site.
