Squad composition

How the 30-player squad breaks down by position, as published by Georgia St. for 2026-27. Players listed at two positions are counted at both, since they provide cover in either.

• Goalkeepers4
• Defenders9
• Midfielders10
• Forwards7

Who is leaving, and when

9 of the 30 are in their final year, so on current form that many places open up next summer — 30% of the squad. A redshirt year does not change this: a redshirt senior leaves when a senior does.

Going by position: 4 forwards, 3 defenders, 1 goalkeeper, 1 midfielder.

• Freshman8

  3 defenders2 midfielders2 forwards1 goalkeeper

• Sophomore6

  3 midfielders1 goalkeeper1 defender1 forward

• Junior7

  4 midfielders2 defenders1 goalkeeper

• Senior (final year)8

  3 defenders3 forwards1 goalkeeper1 midfielder

• Graduate (final year)1

  1 forward

Final-year groups are shown in amber. A player listed at two positions is counted under each of them, since they provide cover in either, so the positions on a row can total more than the row itself. Redshirt players are counted in the year they are listed for.

Recent results

Overall record across the last 3 seasons. Soccer is a fall sport, so each season runs from August to a championship in December of the year shown. The NCAA files them by academic year, so the 2025 season appears as 2025-26 on its own site.
