Squad composition

How the 28-player squad breaks down by position, as published by South Fla. for 2026-27. Players listed at two positions are counted at both, since they provide cover in either.

• Goalkeepers3
• Defenders9
• Midfielders8 (7)
• Forwards9 (8)

1 player is listed at two positions; the figure in brackets counts only single-position players.

Who is leaving, and when

10 of the 28 are in their final year, so on current form that many places open up next summer — 36% of the squad. A redshirt year does not change this: a redshirt senior leaves when a senior does.

Going by position: 5 defenders, 3 midfielders, 3 forwards.

• Freshman6

  3 forwards2 defenders1 goalkeeper

• Sophomore4

  1 goalkeeper1 defender1 midfielder1 forward

• Junior8

  4 midfielders2 forwards1 goalkeeper1 defender

• Senior (final year)7

  3 defenders3 forwards2 midfielders

• Graduate (final year)3

  2 defenders1 midfielder

Final-year groups are shown in amber. A player listed at two positions is counted under each of them, since they provide cover in either, so the positions on a row can total more than the row itself. Redshirt players are counted in the year they are listed for, of which there are 4.

Recent results

Overall record across the last 3 seasons. Soccer is a fall sport, so each season runs from August to a championship in December of the year shown. The NCAA files them by academic year, so the 2025 season appears as 2025-26 on its own site.
