Squad composition

How the 28-player squad breaks down by position, as published by Utah Tech for 2026-27. Players listed at two positions are counted at both, since they provide cover in either.

• Goalkeepers3
• Defenders5 (4)
• Midfielders11 (9)
• Forwards11 (10)

2 players are listed at two positions; the figure in brackets counts only single-position players.

Who is leaving, and when

5 of the 28 are in their final year, so on current form that many places open up next summer — 18% of the squad. A redshirt year does not change this: a redshirt senior leaves when a senior does.

Going by position: 2 defenders, 2 forwards, 1 midfielder.

• Freshman7

  5 midfielders3 forwards1 defender

• Sophomore7

  3 forwards2 defenders1 goalkeeper1 midfielder

• Junior6

  3 midfielders2 forwards1 goalkeeper

• Senior (final year)4

  2 defenders1 midfielder1 forward

• Graduate (final year)1

  1 forward

Final-year groups are shown in amber. A player listed at two positions is counted under each of them, since they provide cover in either, so the positions on a row can total more than the row itself. Redshirt players are counted in the year they are listed for, of which there are 2. 3 players have no class year published and are not counted above.

Recent results

Overall record across the last 3 seasons. Soccer is a fall sport, so each season runs from August to a championship in December of the year shown. The NCAA files them by academic year, so the 2025 season appears as 2025-26 on its own site.
