Squad composition

How the 33-player squad breaks down by position, as published by King (TN) for 2026-27. Players listed at two positions are counted at both, since they provide cover in either.

• Goalkeepers3
• Defenders12
• Midfielders10 (8)
• Forwards8 (6)

2 players are listed at two positions; the figure in brackets counts only single-position players. 2 players have no position published.

Who is leaving, and when

8 of the 33 are in their final year, so on current form that many places open up next summer — 24% of the squad. A redshirt year does not change this: a redshirt senior leaves when a senior does.

Going by position: 3 defenders, 2 goalkeepers, 2 forwards, 1 midfielder.

• Freshman14

  6 midfielders4 defenders3 forwards1 goalkeeper2 without a position

• Sophomore2

  1 defender1 midfielder

• Junior9

  4 defenders3 forwards2 midfielders

• Senior (final year)7

  2 goalkeepers2 defenders2 forwards1 midfielder

• Graduate (final year)1

  1 defender

Final-year groups are shown in amber. A player listed at two positions is counted under each of them, since they provide cover in either, so the positions on a row can total more than the row itself. Redshirt players are counted in the year they are listed for.

Recent results

Overall record across the last 3 seasons. Soccer is a fall sport, so each season runs from August to a championship in December of the year shown. The NCAA files them by academic year, so the 2025 season appears as 2025-26 on its own site.
