Squad composition

How the 28-player squad breaks down by position, as published by Liberty for 2026-27. Players listed at two positions are counted at both, since they provide cover in either.

• Goalkeepers4
• Defenders10 (9)
• Midfielders8 (6)
• Forwards8 (7)

2 players are listed at two positions; the figure in brackets counts only single-position players.

Who is leaving, and when

8 of the 28 are in their final year, so on current form that many places open up next summer — 29% of the squad. A redshirt year does not change this: a redshirt senior leaves when a senior does.

Going by position: 2 goalkeepers, 2 defenders, 2 midfielders, 2 forwards.

• Freshman7

  4 defenders3 midfielders1 forward

• Sophomore4

  3 forwards1 defender

• Junior8

  3 defenders3 midfielders2 forwards1 goalkeeper

• Senior (final year)5

  2 midfielders1 goalkeeper1 defender1 forward

• Graduate (final year)3

  1 goalkeeper1 defender1 forward

Final-year groups are shown in amber. A player listed at two positions is counted under each of them, since they provide cover in either, so the positions on a row can total more than the row itself. Redshirt players are counted in the year they are listed for. 1 player has no class year published and is not counted above.

Recent results

Overall record across the last 3 seasons. Soccer is a fall sport, so each season runs from August to a championship in December of the year shown. The NCAA files them by academic year, so the 2025 season appears as 2025-26 on its own site.
